Chapter 1: General Provisions
Scope of Application
Article 1
1. These terms apply to the transportation of suitcases, etc. (hereinafter referred to as "luggage") entrusted to Budify services.
2. These terms apply from the moment the luggage is received at the airport counter from the sender until the luggage is delivered to the hotel, or from the moment the luggage is received from the hotel until it is handed over to the sender at the airport counter.
3. Valuables, fragile items, dangerous goods, animals, and perishables are outside the scope of application. (as agreed upon in the terms of use and consent form)
4. The guarantee for loss or damage due to gross negligence is limited to 700 USD per luggage.
5. This applies only to damages to luggage contents caused by troubles during transportation.
6. Keys and zippers attached to luggage are not checked when received, and luggage is returned in its current state. Suitcases and cardboard boxes are regarded as containers for the contents, and no guarantee is provided for damages, scratches, or dents due to wear and tear.
Chapter 2: Acceptance of Transportation
Reception Date and Time
Article 2
1. We specify the reception date and time, and notify via email. The meeting time with the staff is set 30 to 70 minutes after the flight's arrival time.
- If your physical arrival & drop-off exceeds 70 minutes, it will be considered a no-show. If there is an unavoidable delay in immigration, it is necessary to notify the staff in advance.
- Refund/Cancellation Policy (based on KST):
- Cancellation up to 3 days before the service: 100% refund
- Cancellation up to 2 days before the service: 50% refund
- Cancellation the day before the service: 0% refund
Issuance of Tags
Article 3
We issue a tag for each piece of luggage when accepting transportation. The sender must fill in the following information on the tag:
1. Sender's name
2. Hotel name (for departure) or airline and flight time (for return)
3. Sender's phone number.
Confirmation of Luggage Contents
Article 4
1. If there is any doubt about the description of the luggage contents or special precautions during transportation registered at the time of reservation, we may inspect the contents with the sender's consent.
2. If the contents of the luggage or special precautions during transportation differ from the registered details at the time of reservation, the inspection costs will be borne by the sender.
Packing
Article 5
1. The sender must pack the luggage appropriately according to its nature, weight, and volume for transportation.
2. If the packing is inadequate for transportation, we may require the sender to repack or repack the luggage at the sender's expense.
Refusal of Acceptance
Article 6
We may refuse to accept transportation in the following cases:
1. If the application for transportation does not comply with these terms.
2. If the sender does not provide the necessary details at the time of reservation or refuses to consent to the inspection under Article 4.
3. If the packing is inadequate for transportation.
4. If the sender requests special burdens related to transportation.
5. If the transportation is deemed to violate public order or good morals, or support the activities of organized crime groups (as defined by relevant laws).
6. If the sender or receiver is deemed to be part of an organized crime group.
7. If the luggage contains prohibited items such as explosives, dangerous goods, or valuable items exceeding 700 USD in value.
8. If unavoidable circumstances arise due to natural disasters or other reasons.
Attaching Tags
Article 7
We attach tags to the luggage with the necessary information listed in Article 3, unless unnecessary or unexpected circumstances occur.
Special Provisions for Dangerous Goods
Article 8
The sender must clearly mark dangerous goods on the exterior of the luggage and notify us of the nature and safety information in advance if necessary.
Collection of Fees
Article 9
1. Fees are collected at the time of reservation.
2. Fees are 5 USD (excluding tax) per luggage less than 140 cm in total dimensions and 10 USD (excluding tax) for luggage exceeding 140 cm in total dimensions.
3. Fees are posted on the website, and when price updates occur, the information displayed on the website should be prioritized.
Contact or Utilized Transport
Article 10
We may transport the luggage in cooperation with other transport companies or through other means if it does not harm the sender's interests.
Chapter 3: Delivery of Luggage
Delivery Date and Time
Article 11
Luggage will be delivered by the designated delivery date and time, but delays may occur due to traffic or other circumstances.
Delivery to Someone Other than the Receiver
Article 12
Delivery to hotel management or staff at the designated delivery location is considered as delivery to the receiver.
Procedures for Failure to Deliver
Article 13
If delivery cannot be made to the receiver, we will notify the receiver by phone or email, and may store the luggage at the hotel front desk or airport counter.
Chapter 4: Instructions
Instructions for Delivery
Article 14
The sender can provide instructions for stopping, returning, or transferring the luggage. However, this right ends once the luggage has been delivered to the receiver.
Accidents
Article 15
In case of accidents such as loss or damage, we will notify the sender immediately and follow instructions for dealing with the luggage.
Chapter 5: Liability
Liability for Loss or Damage
Article 16
We are liable for loss or damage to the luggage from the time we receive it until delivery, unless the damage is due to natural causes or force majeure.
Refunds
Article 17
In the case of loss, damage, or delays caused by our fault, transportation fees will be refunded.
